  • Eek, unexpected operation news, not sure how I feel. :o

Was told it would be 3-6 months before they operated on me again to form the channel that closed, as they needed to let my body heal. Specialist bladder nurses told me they didn't think I would be done until after Christmas.

Just had a call from secretary. They want me in on 21st October.

I guess it will be good to get it over and done with, but really had thought it would be after Christmas, so not mentally prepared at all.

LS if you get your op sooner, you will be better sooner ;) You're probably in a bit of shock because it was so unexpected. Once you get a chance to get used to the idea, you will feel better hug4.gif

Up late, done washing, spent several hours on eBay trying to spend my £30 on Tupperware for my Mum. Hers is rather old now & it's what she would like for Christmas :o
It is so expensive :eek: for the genuine items, so many sellers using Tupperware in their listings when it is not

Anyway some how or other I ended up purchasing a Liberty scarf lined in Harris Tweed instead for myself :o:o
Plus an extra 500 Nectar points for a £30 spend

Looks gorgeous - perfect for the Isle of Man with my waxed jacket :D

Once you get your head around it, its very scary first off - then just think how much better you will feel by Christmas :D

Good afternoon, ladyshopper as mentioned, the sooner it's done the sooner your on the road to recovery, bit like your self I was waiting on two dates, found out yesterday that I should get an appointment for November time to get a kidney removed, so all good, then this morning was told I would be in for a fistula not next week but week after, but surgeon decided he wants me in on Tuesday , so a bit sooner than I had expected, heyho just roll with it :)
