Good morning all...
Well it looks like everyone had a fab time last night at bella....what a great find by MHOC, I just hope she enjoyed her's too!
thanks curl girl for the frosting recipe...I used CBY original cheese which doesn't mention being low fat but clearly for me its one to potentially avoid next time.....I now not only need to make a frosting but also a new batch of cupcakes...the vultures descended last night and there are now only 3 left.
Went to pick my sweetcorn last night too,and it looks like an animal may have got there first...possibly a fox but whatever it was its enjoyed the whole crop.....just seems to have trampled it all and eaten everything just leaving the husks discarded on the ground....shame really as its probably one of the vegetables I really enjoy when its very freshly picked!
FC...a lovely new car...ENJOY!
Yes this was my best find ever ever - has anyone figured out what the true cost was if you ordered the same from the new menu?
I asked what size glass of wine we were allowed and the chap said any so we had 2 large ones - OH gave me most of his as he was worried about driving - I think he would have metabolised most of what alchol he had anyway, 10 min walk, 20 mins on the train and the volume of food we eat
Mind you we had pints of lager in Piture and piano at 6 before we went across - possibly that was not such a good idea“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Limoncello has big significance for us as well.
We had a last minite cruise on a MSE ship (this is an entire anecdote that needs a winters afternoon to tell you all about!) but we had a drinks passage and encouraged by the other couple at the dinner table every evening after dinner we had limoncello - sometimes 2! Well it was an Italian ship and we were mostly eating an Italian menu - goodness knows how much limoncello was consumed that week - odd times we had one in the bar afterwards as well.
Another time we were in Lucca and we found a local shop, a bit like a green groucery but it also had masses of limoncello but we only had an hour so we could not stop to linger.
Before youngest son set off in July he brought us a bottle and I think we will save this for ChristmasEnterprise_1701C wrote: »Good morning all, it's raining here.
Off to Costco today for a change
Glad to see everyone had a good time at Bella Italia. Ours wasn't participating
Anyone that likes Limoncello, our local Aldi has some in for £6.99. I haven't tried it but the Lidl one has always been OK. Got some last time and I have had one small glass from the bottle but OH has nearly finished the rest of it.
We were out at Lake Garda in Italy when the kids were younger, wherever we dined out they always brought out some Limoncello, even for the kids, you get quite a taste for it in the hot weather. It was only shot glasses but it wasn't hard to notice how strong it was. I have to admit to drinking one a day then, haven't drunk that much before or after, but when it is put in front of you for free then it is awfully rude to turn it down, especially when it is so nice.
Enjoy your new car FC, you deserve it :A“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
You still doing chickens two at a time, big lad
Haha assume thats me...yup...still eating 4k - 5k calories a day! up to 150kg bench press which is nice! Actually its not, its bloody heavy!
A recent trip to Harvester was somewhat embarrassing when I ordered a sharing platter plus a whole chicken and she brought over 3 knives and forks just for me! hahaha! The girlfriend was highly amused!
Dropping back now and again, Im the worst lurker ever! :rotfl:
Hope you are well buddy!0 -
