Thanks, i told him about the pain in my hand but it is a continuous pain from elbow across my hand

Mine was too I even had my shoulder cease up at one point as pain so severe, think remember being told something had gone into spasm.

It was not until I had really strong slow release anti inflammatory that the severe pain went. GP was not happy I had been given it when I went back for repeat. He asked who had prescribed it so did back down when I told him consultant at hospital.

I was given steroid injection by xray into thumb joint was fantastic for a week but they would not repeat as said relief had not lasted long enough to warrant repeating. :(

It's horrible being limited on what you can do take it easy. x

    This happened to my mum.

GP unfortunately just assumed I was too young. I hope your mum is in less pain now with right treatment. Mine has settled well for now, good and bad days.

I am better thanks Snap but will carry on taking the pills :j

    Hope you get yours sorted.

When I went docs last week he said I had to make another appointment for a cholesterol test. I asked if needles involved he said yes . So I told him my cholesterol was ok :D

He asked how did I know so told him I was feared of needles. So he did it there and then :( saying he didn't want me worrying about needles I have got to ring up this week for results.
