Anything else that has the audacity to be not crisp shaped. In my house you have to be a proper crisp to make it in to the crisp drawer
Ah, ok. But couldn't mini cheddars be classed as crackers? And whilst I get the deal with the other "crisps" you have mentioned not being crisp shaped, what about pringles? Is it because they are too much of a perfect shape?
I find the categorisation fascinating to be honest! I bet the whole jaffa cake thing and whether it was a cake or a biscuit led to a a lot of interesting debates!0 -

I don't get into these debates with him. Trying to understand his logic usually ends very badly for me. :rotfl:A VAT tribunal in the 90s agreed they were cakes
I know thisbut in the end it was decided on where they are found in the supermarket that counted. If they can live beside custard creams in Ts, that's where they live in his drawer. That's also the reason a nestle rolo dessert gets away with being called a 'yogurt' in his mind  Makes convincing him to eat yogurts to boost his dairy intake a little difficult
He has a project for catering this term. He had to pick a country, learn about the food in that country and produce his project by the end of this month. He then has to take an example of an item of food from that country in with his project.
I asked him what country he chose and he told me everyone was being boring and choosing Italy, France, China, India etc. So he thought he'd be different and choose Sweden  And me with no trip to IKEA planned anytime soon  :rotfl:0 -

I have a few packs of fried locus and other bugs, that are ate like crisps in many of the middle/far east countries...... does he want to change his mind. I am desperate to get rid of these!:eek::eek:100 -

That's easy, swedes
Or will that just open up the turnip/swede debate? :rotfl:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Good afternoon Elite :hello:
Lovely sunny start to the day here. Have done a quick shop in Mr Lidl whilst DH popped into Mr A for a few bits and pieces plus 2 boxes of coke. They come in handy when we are on a jaunt out now and again.
Yesterday I went to visit a friend, she is becoming weaker by the day but tries to remain cheerful bless her.
I have a few pages to read to catch you up and have some jobs to do too. Will try to catch you all later.
FC lovely to see you posting, you're in my thoughts x
tweets, how are you today?
bubbs, take it easy with those arms. Hope they aren't too bad today xThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
Oh dear. Another unfortunate advert on a local FB selling page....
