please can I ask has anyone had a postal order recently and been able to cash it with no issues?

I took the Walkers postal order they sent me for £20 into the bank today but they pointed out that there was nothing on the payee line so they could not cash it - I offered to write my name in but she said that was not OK

The letter that came with it is hopefully still in the paper recycling.

If I can find it I might message them via FB first with photos - it took 3 weeks for it to arrive so if I have to put it back into the post I am worried about it vanishing altogether

Firstly, thank you very much Bubbs for the cheese tipoff!

Secondly, I have been swayed by the offers from Thomson (and the very helpful comments from several people on here about Thomson Cruises) and I have booked 2 cruises, one for May (DHs birthday) and September (wedding anniversary). Both are in the Med, ne from Palma and the other from Dubrovnik and have the £75 discaount plus AI drinks packages. Interior cabins (cos if I am sea sick I want to lie down and suffer in my cabin without seeing any water through the window!) but on decks 3/4 and 4/5 so not right down the bottom.

We are complete Cruise Virgins but I don't see how we can go far wrong with these (especially as we can fly from Exeter which is only an hour or two up the road from us). Thanks guys.

:j Excellent, and how very brave booking two cruises when you have never been on one, way to do it :D

    Afternoon all.

    Update on my car:-

Still not fixed, garage phoned not long ago, to say got another hitch, I said "another one".

Apparently Ford, wont guarantee the work they have done on the car so far, because they never asked for authorisation before starting the work.

Great, the car is only just 12 months old, so it is covered by warranty, this is a Ford garage I have taken it to, cant understand what they are playing at, its so annoying.

I have been busy at work today, and could really do with some cheese, but got zumba and clubbercise tonight and cant be bothered afterwards to go, too far aswell, and going in the wrong direction doesnt help matters.

Hope all the Elite that are unwell, are soon fit and well, take care.

What is it in for ?

Ive just ordered a second box, I will not be beaten. I dont believe in returning them, as you are getting what you ordered (unless there isnt 3 bottles of champagne in  ) but each to their own. I dont like returning anything, I believe it is one thing women do better than men (Henlans excluded from that comment ;) )

I made OH do the last one, make notes and fill in the tick sheet and do the surveys :rotfl:

Last week I completed the face scrub one but the next evening I found an email from them to say that they had lost all of their date and another link to do the inclusion survey again.
Of course by that time it was too late all the places had gone
so a few days ago the same happened, a new product to test so I did the inclusion survey straight away and again another email from them asking to do it all again - fortunately this time I was watching the emails that came in very carefully.

just had a look in Boots trying to identify the root concealer powder with no success - I did though find this

ROOT VANISH by Kazumi Coloring Brush - Copper

which came in a velvet pouch and the brush looked similar. OH said I wonder if that's it and I then pointed to the SEL

    £30

so we went to poundland and got my usual mid month top up colour :rotfl:

Well, I had to get in quick while I had DH in the mood! To be honest, they are only 7 night cruises, a lot of the sailing seems to be at night, if the food is OK I can always get plastered on the included booze (I am currently teetotal after my disgraceful behaviour last week when my Grandaughter had to put me to bed after a session with vodka and a few other bottles - but I can't see that lasting much longer !). I am sure we will enjoy it even if its not quite perfect.
