Last morning and it's 41.5 degrees
  • Think I shall pass on the wine. Still have a wine rack full, including 5 bottles of champagne and one of prosecco, and several boxes of wine too. Of course it doesn't help that OH is about to bottle some home made redcurrant and still has raspberry and blackberry to make. And we only drink about half a bottle a week

I have just sent off for a champagne stopper with some of my Amazon money so we can actually drink some of the champers!

Hello. I'm not a regular on here, but I was in the Coop earlier this morning, and there's a strange offer you might be interested in. I don't know if it's a glitch or a genuine clearance offer, but it's a very good one!

Walkers crisps, 150g, (large bag), £2.29 each
    or two bags for £2!

    I'm in a clique! It's a clique of one! It's a unique clique!
    I love

Thanks Munqui and Henlans, yes I realised I'd bought the wrong Dove when I looked at it again, but see the wham cosmic chews with trigger chupa chups shootz gives 64p? plus back on £1. Cannot work out this 10% lark. No doubt got that wrong as well. Anyway would also like to thank the fab SFSB for the fizz, got 10 bottles for Gkids.x

Good morning all, consoling hugs to all who need them

The pop glitch is going over my head - but I will be getting the Pepsi max which is on Shopotize at least - I've not converted OH to being a water drinker but he now drinks elderflower cordial - it probably has more sugar than Pepsi max/coke zero :(

Slightly worrying that the main computer was in the middle of a shut down and restart when I got up this morning - self motivated, probably some sort of annoying update in the night. My excel charts I save as I go along and these get auto saved anyway so no worries there. But I was in the midst of a spring bulb order, getting carried away and up to £30
So at least that's saved me from myself.
I wish I'd taken more notice when homebase had its 20% sale the other weekend. Their bulbs are 342 and they have some different versions including summer snowdrops that we saw at Nunnington Hall earlier in the year

Our hedgehog managed to set the security light off last night, ( usually he is too little ) he was on the path but I think it was his little nose wriggling in the air, locating where his supper was :)

We welcome anyone from the alphabetties (anywhere else come to that!). Thank you for posting this. It is the confusing sort of offer that you will often find in various supermarkets, almost sure it is a loss leader i.e. something to draw you into the store and get you to spend more. Of course if you are in the elite you get drawn in but do not buy anything else :D

Bisol I think I was ordering it along with another offer too can't remember what it was now or was it the free cheese using the two codes which knocked another couple of quid off your bill!
The number of people who tell me they don't shop at Tecso because they think it's expensive  they must be mad.
