So the sloppy offers are mainly the SAme for most people but then others have additional offers?

    I didn't realise that.

Called at S and got the ICBINB for £1 and treated Mr T-MOBILE to the Radox muscle rub for £1 too

Noticed that the Dolmio is now £1 in A so will get that tomorrow with a womble:)

Edit""..got to leave that in....... Can't see what I'm typing as I'm in tweets next door neighbours front bedroom......how's that when there's no pictures on this page?

Can we quickly get onto a new page please

Through the keyhole. More funny than normal, but shocked that Bill Oddie has so many stuffed birds. Most odd.

How many posts do you have to a page?

When you click reply/quote that is the number of previous posts that appear below where you type your post (so it can include posts from the previous page)

my dad at first had Christmas first at my sisters and then at the other sisters but then he decided he wanted Christmas on his own (we had 3 teenagers at home so he would never have come here, far too much chaos) We didn't like him being on his own but it was his decision so we had to lump it.
I think if it just me on my own I would prob be the same. I know the local Methodist church put on a Christmas dinner for the elderly on their own so I would go and help out there - if only to do table setting and washing up but apart from that I would be quite content to

Christmas last year was so stressful not knowing if dad would last the holiday season and all the December trips up north. Then rough on the day even though dad was really good and tried hard with his visitors.
I told dd that I was only going to spend every other xmas with her now as back in my PI room at 4 pm plus having to drive doesn't make for the best day. Before dgd came along I used to ho up xmas eve to deliver presents then come home and spend the day on my own which after the first couple of times I began to enjoy. No expectations and not disagreements. Very happy to have spent 2013 with dad at dd house though. So being away xmas day seems like a good idea.
I even fancy Emmap ' s new years eve idea of a posh hotel and lots of room service.
House purchase is dragging on now. Originally told 1st Sept now mid Oct but think will be end Oct if I am lucky. Terrible but been looking for a cheap break for next month to stop the thumb twiddling.

I have an announcement to make. I am going to be a Granny!! My son and his wife are having a baby in March. They told my hubby and I 2 weeks ago the day after our daughters wedding. But we kept it quiet until he could tell his sister who got back from honeymoon yesterday

Congratulations Rose, that is wonderful news.
