Not getting minimum wage, but scared of losing my job if I complain.

    All I can suggest is that you actively look for another job that pays properly then when you've started it you can report your current employer.

    I think you need to take some legal advice on this. In reality you may be an employee in the legal sense. If you are a union member you could access legal advice via your local rep or member helpline.

    It sounds to me, from the very brief term described by the OP, that this is a limited liability partnership. In which case the position is far from clear. Prior to last year, members of LLP's were not accorded employee status, so minimum wage did not apply. There was Supreme Court ruling last year which established that such people were, in fact, workers in law - but the case relates specifically to whistleblowing, so there is no tested case law on any other aspect of employment. And it will be incredibly expensive to find out. Unless such law exists, it is unlikely that reporting them will be of any use - no government department can make a ruling on employment status unless it is backed by law or case law.
