You used to have to wait for 10 days before you could order a reward when you first joined, but I have noticed myself that you no longer have to, my friend order a voucher after just 6 days (as soon as she had earned enough) and I got my reward just a week after recommending her, so you can reccommend someone and get the 500 points the next day then.
