Anyone who has applied for loans?

Your bank probably wont, as they will see your wages being credited.0

Sainsbury's didn't ask for wage slips when I got accepted for a loan with them, but the APR was too high so I then applied to my own bank (Santander) but obviously they see my salary going in every month.
What is the problem with supplying wage slips? Unless you don't actually earn what you plan to tell them you do...............0 -
Its a fair few years since i had a personal loan but in the past i had plenty and i was never asked for payslips. Is this normal practice now?£1000 Emergency fund No90 £1000/1000

Why don't you want to show your wages slips?"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0

Do you know any lenders, apart from Tesco Bank, who don't ask for wage slips when you apply?
Credit card companies almost never ask for wage slips.
I imagine you're self employed and require finance but don't have pay slips. Just say so in the application.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

NatWest asked to see my wage slips three years ago when I applied for a loan with them; I'm paid weekly and visit the bank to deposit them so assumed that's why (rather than a regular salary being credited via BACS).It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0

Zopa approved my loan online , then asked me for wage slips, which I don't have0

I assume you stated you are working when you applied for the loan? your employer must provide you wage slips by law...why do they not?
If you are not working then stating anything else on a loan application would be attempting fraud0 -
