Hi,
I've read on the forums that some people like to change thier email address every few months as they find if the keep using the same one they are less likely to win. What's everybodies thoughts on this? Surely the majority of competition winners are picked fairly and Thier email address doesn't matter?

Back Comping in 2024!0 -
That is a new tactic that I have not personally read of & one that I cannot really see the point of.
I have used the same comping email address for over seven years.
Each to their own though & good luck if you do decide to try it.0 -
Costs nothing to change it although I think every few months is a bit excessive.
If you are going to do it then running two e-mail addresses is probably the best way to go - one for log-in comps that you don't change (no point they know it's you anyway) and one for all others that you do - when you change to a new one you should get far less spam to start with which if nothing else should make winning e-mails easier to spot.0 -
I get a new email address every year (and drop one of the old ones).
I don't think it increases chances of winning, but it does cut down on Spam.
I habitually choose email addresses that give no clue to gender/age/location.0 -
I do - normally when my wins go really quiet I'll change it. My wins normally pick up after a few weeks. Haven't had to change it again yet thoughThanks to all posters :A0

I change my email address every year.
I'm sure it is just down to luck/chance but when I used an email address with my full name in I was winning loads of things (and at least 1 big prize a month)
This year I have changed it to an address with 'lucky' as part of it and only won 2 things totalling £13!
So I'll be changing it to an address that has my name again soon to see if I have any luck that way0 -
I didn't change but added an email as some comps didn't like my yahoo.com one, I still win more on my old one than on my newproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0
