MBNA interest and charges

Hello,
Despite being in a DMP for many years I am only now checking my DMP statement balances with the creditors /dca's. I have discovered that in the 5 months from when I started the DMP to when MBNA issued a default notice and soon after sold the debt to a DCA they added £780 in fees and interest. Has anyone else been in this situation and managed to claim that they refund the fees or interest ?

I did manage to reclaim fees from the Halifax by putting in a complaint to the FOS. It's worth a try.DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421

I agree it is worth a try. I think i will complain and ask them to refund the interest and fees. If I am lucky they might refund the fees but I doubt the interest.0
