Do you tip the barber?

If so how much is appropriate?

My barber cost £6 so I normally give him 50p if he doesn't cut my ears off.

Well when you tip when you eat out the theory is you tip 15%. Now a barber I would have no idea. Being female my hair costs £60 and i like my hairdresser so much i always give her £5. How much does it cost to get your hair cut?

Wor local barber charges £5.50 so i just round it up to £6 and they seem happy enough with that

I can't help thinking how much more we'd save if only she'd let me do hers for her as well...

If it's a bad cut I just give them the price quoted(no way I'm going back there), go home and cry. If I like it, I give them a couple of quid out of sheer gratitude. It usually costs me about £20 & tip.
  • i give her a quid tip, cos shes got nice boobys...

I feel really mean now. My cut and blow dry costs £19.50 and I have only ever left a tip at Christmas time and that was a couple of quid.
