  • Sorry if this has been asked before but does anyone have any info on www.freeshippingboots.com

Fakes. Usual abysmal English, ludicrous prices and absence of decent contact info (google phone number for previous site incarnations). Can't even be bothered to check that it is Chinese, it so obviously is.

I think the fakers are getting wise to the fact that everyone knows that if it has Ugg in the site name it is a fake site. So, I reckon the new easy way to spot them is if they ONLY sell Uggs. I can't think of a single legitimate seller that only sells Uggs.
  • Just bought Emu Hi Stingers in Chocolate for £59.60 from Amazon :j

I caved in and ordered chestnut Emu stingers from Javari. Got the lo and the high, think the lo might be too .... lo so will return one pair once I see them out. Though maybe I can talk H into keeping them both ;o)

    Brilliant value though!

Hi all you experts! I am a size 6.5-7 and not sure what size emu lo stingers to get, can anyone help please? Would a 6 or 7 be better, TIA

I would go for the 7's. I am a 5.5 - 6 and the 6 fits fine, a tad snug but once the fluffly lining moulds to your feet they will be perfect.

I've never seen the gold tall boots; only short. I remember they had gold brocade in tall but they've vanished now.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Lauri, The Hippers are great, i have the regular size, having compared them to the Stingers i'd say they are about the same quality, there is not much of a difference between the Merino wool and sheepskin either, both are great.

emu australia outback low - i quite like the look of these ones look more dureable, anyone got them ?

Yes. They're great as they have a better sole and a more squishy insole too. Much more comfortable if you're on your feet alot. I walk my dogs miles in mine (but scotch guard or similar them first!) The only thing I'd point out tho is that the sizing is HUGE!! Definitely size down - I wear a 6 - 7 usually depending on the type of shoe and bought a 5 in these and they're still generous!

I have the normal Hipper and they are mid calf on me, i ordered the Lo Stingers in Choc from Javari and they come to about 7cms above my ankle, about the sizing, im a 7.5 and 8 in some shoes and saw on QVC to order up a size so i got 2 pairs in an 8 (Bronte Hi and Hipper) from westway for £70 in Jan but once the fur wore down they were really big but i just wear them with thick socks, i think once the fur goes down with wear the 7 will be perfect.

That sizing surprises me actually. I've got Stinger Lo, Bronte and Outback Lo and I had to buy a size smaller and they are still very generously sized. In fact, I'm concerned that once the fur flattens down they'll be miles too big and I'll have to wear socks to keep them on!

Are the Hipper Lo proper fluffy sheepskin like Stingers or Merino wool lined like the brontes?
