worriedsik - i would either go for the emu stinger short chestnut from m&m direct for £49.99 - that is very cheap!

or if you want taller ones then amazon are doing them for £99 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Emu-Australia-Stinger-Chestnut-W10001/dp/B0029U1C88/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=shoes&qid=1258403884&sr=8-3

you can also get emu stingers on ebay, without having to worry about them being fake - i'm not aware of any fake emu boots, but i wouldn't buy ugg australia boots from ebay as there are more fakes than genuine on there.

    http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?LH_PrefLoc=1&_trkparms=65%253A12%257C66%253A2%257C39%253A1%257C72%253A2471&_nkw=emu+stinger+6&_dmpt=Women_s_Shoes&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_sop=15&_sc=1

if you want proper sheepskin boots then it is the emu stinger style you will need to get. emu bronte are a cheaper style which have a suede rather than sheepskin outer, the quality is nowhere near as good as the stingers in my opinion

emu stinger are as good if not better quality than ugg australia boots, and cheaper too

    i am a size 6 and take a 6 in emus and a 5.5 in ugg australia

if you want to get ugg australia then your best bet is mywardrobe.com and buy short ones for £100 (£150 less £50 discount) the code is on here somewhere

Javari are doing Stinger talls in a variety of colours for £99.33.

This is a new website from Amazon dedicated to handbags and shoes.
They've a brave lot of ugg aus boots on there too and are offering free one day delivery.

I wouldn't buy emu boots off ebay unless it is from a ebay shop or something, i'm nearly positive that I read somwhere last year when I was looking for some that the fake makers were catching on that people would buy emu stingers as an alternative to ugg aus and so were starting with the fake emu stingers.
  • Right guys...........i like the emu better but she is 18 and i think the label will mean more !!! yep i know lol but hey ho hum ! think i will get the uggs she has made me proud off her geting into uni soooooo i ''think'' its the uggs .............ohhhh i dont know lol

thanks guys for all your very quick responses i will try to search out the discount code

Re sizing i'd get her normal size as better too big than too small. Those short emus seem a bargain at £49.99 and if she's wearing cheap fakes at the moment and liking them she'll be over the moon with proper sheepskin boots, regardless if they are UA or not.

If you want to get UA boots the short classics are normally £150 so thats a big jump in price. My wardrobe only have short greys at the moment i think, and with the code they work out around £100. Another option would be the 20% off code at USC where the short classics will work out at £120.

Another few good sites for uggs are:
    https://www.shudoo.co.uk
    https://www.asos.com
but i don't think there are discount codes floating around for them at the moment. There's normally a 20% one for shudoo every so often, so if you see something you like on there it may be worth holding on?

Good luck with the shopping, remember to use topcashback/quidco etc if you can as it will get you a little something back.

I agree with Claire about £49.99 for stinger los being a bargain and that she would most likely be very pleased with them as they are proper sheepskin.

Heyy, I was the same, I'm 18 and really, really, really wanted some and dad didnt want to pay over board as he's just bought me a car aha so we used the £50 off code from my wardrobe and got the classic shorts (mine are grey) for £106.50 with postage + it comes with a luxury packaging + bag etc free with the postage so it'd be nice + wrapped for christmas too :D hope that helps. She'll love them.

Wow! Thats a great price for the emu stingers on mandm they've knocked another £10 off.

I have the mini emu stingers fab quality, I would love another pair but was hoping for chocolate. Not sure I can pass them up at that price though.
