Does anybody know roughly how much customs would be for boots that cost about £69 like the ones from Whooga?

I want to work out how much they're gonna cost and whether its worth it and if I should just go ahead and get Ugg Australia boots instead - find them cheaper obviously

Looks like none with whooga http://www.whoogaboots.co.uk/ukugg.asp?p=Taxes

They actually seem like a decent company, I would be interested to hear how you get on with them if you decide to buy, I'm looking for a less pricey brand, I even think the whooga label is nice looking ;)

Has anyone had any experience with uggstore.uk.com? I've just ordered a pair of tall classic Uggs from them for £109. They offer free parcelforce postage, but I have just looked up the parcel tracking link and the boots appear to originate from China! Does anyone know if this is where Ugg have theirs made? I thought they were from Oz. Worrying I might have made an expensive mistake!

    Hello Mookie,

Thanks for your help. Well the thing is I've seen what seems to be two conflicting pieces of information on the website. Well thats my understanding anyway.

Here it seems like you wont get charged as they've already paid them...not sure how:

However, here they say if you do get charged they will only reimburse £10 :

    So whats the truth then?

Mmm thats a bit odd, they cant actually pay the fees, they wont be included in the price as thats not how customs fees work. My guess is they either mark the declaration as low value or possibly gift, and they may label them as boots, not ugg boots, ugg boots seem to get pulled out all the time and even kids boots are not free from charges because they are made of sheepskin. If they were to mark the value as low £10 refund would not cover the charges because the courier handling fee alone is anything between £8-£13 from what I have paid in the past, then the customs charge is added to that my charges have always been around £22-£26 ish.

I would email them for advice on this before you consider buying, they are £78 with delivery if you then get a £20+ customs charge then it wont really be worth buying the alternative label to save money.

Well I dont know how you found the site I cant find it on google  You sure its not uggstore.com au?

But googling the name brings you back to posts here on MSE, I would take a guess that this is the same people just changed to .com now

Ugg Australia have their boots made in china...under license, they dont send their boots from there. Unfortunately China has a lot a fake factories. How did you pay for them?

Yes I was thinking along those lines too that it may not be worth it. So I have emailed them and I'm waiting for their reply. I'll post what they say.

I can't imagine them being that cheap. If they were they will all have gone by now.
