Ugg Boots from £62 delivered

Forgive me if this Australian site http://www.puddlebeach.com.au/Browse.aspx?DepID=4&CatID=88 has been mentioned before (I haven't trawled my way right through the thread!) but it was recommended to me by some mates on another forum, who've used it and were very impressed with the speed of delivery and the quality of the boots.

I've ordered some Chocolate Emu Mini Stingers myself which cost £40ish. Luckily I checked with them before spending £80 on getting the exact same style from QVC!

Just looked at the shudoo website to see their cardy boots and I now think the reason the buttons look different is because the xile photo shows the boots folded down, so what you see in the photo is the reverse side of the buttons, am I right?

Trouble is, though, they are for my daughter - in - law's Christmas present and Xile only give a 7 day return agreement.

The exile site are showing the boots turned down. they are actually buttons but they are smaller than the ones on the other side which have uGg engraved in them. They are very cool buttons!
ps. please can you be my MIL? You buy the nicest pressies!!!:D
The exile site looks legit to me.

Aw, thanks, Caitlin's nan! I was beginning to think nobody was speaking to me...!!! I also think it's a legit site as I checked the Ugg Deckers website which lists Xile as an authorised retailer. Do you think DIL would rather have the cardy boots or classic short uggs from Shudoo? I know you don't know her, but I mean which do you reckon are the coolest?

Yeah, I'll be your MIL, but you'd have to snog my son and that means DIL would be after your blood....not nice!!!!!

I would not get too worried. I bought a pair too & don't feel concerned that I have been conned.
My order went from pending to precessed to despatched within a couple of hours yesterday.
I don't suppose for one minute they they actually started their journey so late in the day yesterday. I am expecting them tomorrow. But if you look at the FAQ's on delivery it quotes...

hi, has anyone purchased a pair of the classic short uggs in grey from shudoo? mine arrived last friday with the 30% discount but i am quite disappointed with them. the grey does not look as nice as the pairs i have spotted in bank and office. mine look rather a dirty grey, just wondering if anyone else had this colour and what they thought of it..thanks x

Mmmm.... I see you mentioned earlier that she was 36... I'm 48 so not quite as young but I still like to consider myself trendy. They say you are as old as the one you feel & DH is only 39 so I'm not that old I guess!
I would go for the cardis for her. With them they look great with a skirt as well as with jeans but I would not wear the short sheepskin boots with a skirt. I wear the calf height ones with a skirt but not short. Personal choice but I'm thinking overall look.
eg. I wore my cardis with some thick black tights, a skirt on a deep waistband, then full from the hips, it sits about 6" above knee height, a chunky Black V neck jumper & a cotton scarf loosely draped around my neck the other day & the whole outfit looked fantastic!
I don't think the short sheepskins would have looked so good.

So my answer is... they are both cool & a great pressy but I consider the cardis more versatile.

my short grey classics arrived last wed & i am over the moon with them! actually think i prefer them to my long chestnut!
i'm sorry you are dissapointed, i got 20% off mine with a code from here.
have you thought of returing them?

Thanks for that Caitlin'snanna. I emailed Xile to ask if they extend their returns time at all for Christmas presents, they might get back to me tomorrow. I wouldn't want to get them for DIL and if they didn't fit, not be able to exchange them.

Of course my son's yummy...not that I'm biased!!!! 6ft tall, dark hair, grey eyes, muscular build...oh, yeah, and a plumber, too. The perfect male specimen, and I'm not just saying that because I'm his mum!!!!
