Has anyone got any Love from Australia boots? Am considering getting a pair of these as they are so nice, but have been told by a local retailer that they rejected a complete collection due to the quality being really bad.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a pair of Tall LFA Nomad boots http://www.lovefromaustralia.com.au/products_nomad.html I have had them about 2 years and they dont get worn anywhere near as often as my Ugg Australia boots, the sole is not as hard wearing as the uGg, rather than wear out the sole seems to squash if that makes sense. They are nice quality on the upper, very snuggly and fluffy inside. The heel area does not squash like the cheapies but they are definately not as strong as uGg so I dont know if they would wear well with everyday wear. This pic of a pair of LFA from ebay kind of shows what I'm trying to explain http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Love-From-Australia-Black-Nomad-Boots-size-UK-6-UGG_W0QQitemZ250297273561QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item250297273561&_trkparms=72%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Although the styles and designs are more glamorous than uGg I'm not so sure they are worth the higher price tag. HTH

i don't think australia direct send to the uk now. also there was talk of them selling fakes. although mine are definitely real.

i think i want grey tall ones which they don't have on the above site, and i would rather buy my next pair in the uk i think

ok i think i have decided on grey tall ones, but i can't work out what colour grey they will actually be. uggaustralia site shows a light grey, and usc shows a browny grey.

anyone got any ideas what kind of grey it is?

edit - i've just ordered them from usc for £127.50. free postage and free returns, so if i don't like the colour they can go back and not cost me anything.

pinkgem, I commented on that a few pages back. They are darker than the ones for example on the Shudoo website (probably due to the flash), but still absolutely adorable. :j

As GeCon says they are darker, they are a steel grey in some lights they seem quite a blueish grey. You will love them!! ;)
  • Hi

Can anyone help me with Canterbury supertreads? After much thought I have decided that these are going to be much more cost effective as they will last years and years ( hopefully).
What I would like to know is where would be the best place for me to buy them, and where am I least likely to be caught with customs tax etc?
Also, are you less likely to be stung by customs if a friend sends them to you, rather than a company, or does that make no difference at all?
Does anyone have any canterbury supertreads? Are they as wonderful as they look?

Yes, I bought some last year and they are far superior to the Decker's UGG boots and half the price! I got them from Hartings and didn't get stung with any customs charges ;)

  • That USC code is brill for anyone wanting to get Uggs preferrably from the UK. I think that's the cheapest price you will get them over here at the moment.

I've just had a quick browse and they have the classic cardys, the classic short/tall, Metallics and the new Baroque print ones.

They also have the baby Erin boots and a selection of flip flops and sandals.
