    Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.....a tale of woe......:o

    I changed from Crocs to Uggs last week what with the weather turning colder. Wore my new Uggs for the first time for a trip to town and a meander round the park. Later in the evening I noticed I had half a dozen bite marks round one of my ankles, (sort of a cross between cat-flea bites, no cat though, and mozzie bites!:eek: ). Sun came out again so back into Crocs for a couple of days. Then yesterday wore my Uggs again and....eeeek...more bites. I must have a stowaway in me boot....:rolleyes: Has anyone else had this happen?? And more importantly....what on earth do I do about it? How do I exterminate the little blighter without spoiling my boots???

    Any ideas please??

    <scratches furiously>
    :eek: no way are you serious ? :D

    the only thing I could think of is if you roll the top down and sort of ruffle the fur inside and turn upside down and see if anything falls out :o
  • Confusion over!!!! My boots arrived at 13.36 today.. They are 101% genuine and they look gorgeous.. The reason that there is no customs/duty to pay is because on the invoice/shipping note the value is less than what I paid for them.

    Tut tut - isn't that a bit naughty of them. But then again if it's as simple as that maybe they should do it next month too!
  • Thanks so much for all the info on this thread.

    I've just ordered some short black Uggs from aussiedirect after reading the fab advice and info on here.

    I really wanted both a black and chestnut pair but couldn't justify the £260 in Office. I was really worried about getting stung with fakes on the www but aussiedirect sound great. Hopefully I'll get a 5% off voucher to order the second pair too. Fingers crossed.

    I'm a UK 7.5-8 and ordered the size 9. I don't have a shop nearby where I could try them on so decided to go with the 9 after reading all the posts on here.

    I can't wait for my boots to arrive :j

    Miro - You should tie your boots in a airtight plastic bag and stick them in the freezer for 24 hours. That should kill any little critters xx
