Then defaulting on your current debts isn't going to help at all. If anything it's only going to kick the idea well into the long grass. No one can tell you what to do. But you say you've lots of equity. Then perhaps using this to clear your slate is the way forward. Otherwise you'll remain trapped on a hamster wheel going no where fast. With all the stress and strain that goes with it.0
