I have access to calibrated scales for heavy objects.
I can tell you that most domestic scales for weighing people can be a little bit off. However they are consistent. So if your trying to loose weight they are more than adequate to let you know this.0 -
Digital scales are easier to read than analogue scales. So they are more accurate in the sense that there is no ambiguity over what the scales are reading. However, the reading itself is not necessarily any more accurate than analogue scales. How accurate the reading is (whether analogue or digital) depends mostly on the quality of the scale.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
