I spent £20 on a special cable that connects my ipod to my Pure digital radio (a good one, cant remember the model and too lazy to go and find out) and it sounds fantastic!

The Jamo i300 has frequently been compared to Bose in terms of sound quality and can be got in black or white for £180 at Costo and several places online................less haste etc

Have a look at the apple website reviews!! they all say that this product is unrivalled pretty much. Better than Bose even!

How about this instead (save money) or as a 2nd speaker system, ideal for the bedroom. I've got the Bose system and one of these in another room. It sounds pretty good - £29.99 online but if you buy instore and join the VIP club (an email newsletter) you can get it for £19.99 - do check though as Richer Sounds deals are always changing:-

I have this one from Amazon, its excellent in everyway, take time to read the reviews if in doubt, and at only £99 its a bargain! worth a look.

I have one of these and several of my colleagues have bought this and are more than happy with it... :T
