Hi
Moving to dundonald in next few months. Just wondering how traffic is now with bus lanes heading to city. I know there are back roads, though reckon some be hairy enough in winter.
We need book childcare soon, debating a facility towards ballyhackamore. Would we be crazy not using somewhere in dundunald.
Oh works city centre and I work antrim.

Depends how far into Dundonald you are going.
We looked around Dundonald when we were buying a yr and a half ago and viewed a property just after 5.30pm and the traffic put us off. I didn't mind too much but my OH cannot cope with traffic, too impatient.
We are near Stormont and the main road is busy until you get onto outer ring then slow again on M2 to Antrim. Slow but moves steady. My OH works in Ballymena and starts at 8 to miss the traffic instead of 9.
I assume if your OH is working City Centre he'd wanna take the bus.
I've no experience w childcare though0 -
