Thanks, for the added info...as Tigerfeet says, we are not prying into your affairs.....but attempting to advise on the fact that you can claim child expenditures on your SOA...I see my post may have come across as aimed at the OP personally...it wasn't intended as such, but merely to provide the OP with the sorts of arguments the OP can proffer when arguing for the expenditures concerned, with the OR .No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all who offered their time and advice to this thread. I have been to court, the process was, frankly, quite painless .... and, despite all fears of trips to Leeds and/or two-hour phone questioning, my follow up interview from the OR comprised a ten-minute phone call in my aunt's garden, without any paperwork in front of me (just to confirm a few points on my statement).
No IPA, no pressure, and no tricky questions. He even offered to notify and include a couple of extra possible creditors (such as water board and council tax) just in case they might surprise me with unexpected arrears ...
Roll on October 1st 2016.
