Help! Business Rate Debt - Terrified

Hello Everyone,
I have received two letters from Jacobs Enforcements Agents for Business Rate debts to my personal address. I explained to the council I was on the brink of bankruptcy, had no money etc but to no avail.
I have not contacted Jacobs as yet. It says I have until tomorrow to pay. I have absolutely no money. I can't even buy food this week let alone pay them. What do I do. I was told by another bailiff that they can break into my property and take goods as it's a debt thats been issued in a magistrates court?
Please help I'm so frightened x

I didn't want to read and run. There are some very good folks here that will be able to offer some help, but I have heard that court appointed bailiffs can only break into commercial property not private.
Don't let them in, in fact don't open the door.
As i said i am sure experienced members will be along soon to offer some advice.0 -
Thank you Lindze, appreciated your reply x0

Just a thought, have a look at national debtline website. There is a section on bailiff action and their right of entry etc.
maybe give them a call tomorrow and they will help you x0
