I am looking for training shoes for gym. But I want them not to have laces or velcro, I want them to be slip on. Is there anything like that?

I wear Nike Free Flyknit trainers and although they have laces, I've only ever done them up once- they just stretch to fit on/off easily. It's bad practice I know but they're not new by far now and still going strong. If you can get to a real Nike store (they're badly copied by Sports Direct who are able to get hold of patterns and the authorisation to make their own and include the brand name and logo but they're not always made to the same quality standards IMO)
Other than this, there are Vans and similar styles can be found in Gap and Aldo and other high street stores but I really wouldn't recommend these styles for exercise as although they're hard wearing they offer no real support, little flexibility and so can result in injuries which are not sports/exercise related but due to poor footwear.0 -
Depending on what you'll be doing at the gym (i.e. how much support your feet/ankles will need), traditional children's plimsolls seem one obvious solution - they come in adult sizes and have elasticated fronts e.g. http://www.clothingattesco.com/shoes+boots/f+f-slip-on-school-plimsoles/invt/ak5210650

I wear what I call 'deck shoes' as slippers, I got them from Matalan for £8, they might be what you are looking for, very light and slip-on with a decent sole.0

Barefoot shoes is a whole sector, I want something light, not for example the shoes of the first link from amazon, which you need steroids to just bend them.0
