I have been discharged from my bankruptcy for 4 years now and looking to open a savings a/c. The co-op have declined my application for a savings a/c even though i've had a cashminder a/c with them for 7 years !!!! any suggestions on which banks will accept me ???

Hi.

I was reccomended to use the yorkshire building society online saving account from tigerfeet2006

I opened this with no problem yesterday and have set up a SO from my Co-op cashminder

With the Co-op one you need to ask tto appeal the decision when the computer says no at the time of application. It is then sent to be done by a real life person and they usually open one.

I think I'll open one too. Ive managed to save £200 but it's not doing much good sitting in a drawer!!
