Wow! That was unexpected

What/which as been either your most expensive or largest prize you've won that turned up unexpected?
For example did you receive a 40 inch TV one morning out of the blue? Or maybe information for an all inclusive holiday to a retreat far away?

I once got a pram. No idea where from. I don't enter comps for prams having no kids or the desire to have any. So when my wife texted me to say, "We have a pram!" I almost had a heart attack!
I eventually managed to give it to a friend but it was a massive thing that took up loads of space.0 -
£100 cash - twice with inside soap
£150 Hobbycraft vouchers - woman weekly
Kettle - clipper
Breakfast Hamper - won it on a food site
Coffee machine - Not sure where it came from.
These are the biggest wins I have had that have turned up and I wasn't expecting them. The kettle I won right at the start on clipper and sometimes it would keep spinning so I won and didn't even know it0 -
A while ago a large brown envelope turned up unexpectedly, I was going to bin it as I thought it was junk mail.
When I eventually decided to open it, I was absolutely amazed to receive a brochure and letter saying 'Congratulations, you have won £1000 to spend at Currys to pay for a cooker'. It couldn't have come at a better time as we were having a new kitchen installed.0 -
I still crave a sizable unexpected package turning up after reading all the stories. I've had little things (taste card, tickets to the circus, baby bibs) but no big unannounced boxes.
The dream continues...0 -
Although it wasn't a huge prize, in December last year a £60 coffee machine turned up without any prior knowledge! I don't drink coffee so never enter for these kind of things, so I guess it was a runners up prize of sorts. Even with MSE compers helping me, I never did find where it came from!
I sold it for £40I just enter and forget...hoping to win something!0 -
I once had 3 boxes turn up when I was on maternity leave, my OH was asking me what I'd been buying and when I opened the boxes there was over £500 worth of hair straighteners hair dryers curlers etYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

We missed a delivery one day, so had to wait until the next day to go and collect it.
When I got home, it was iPad!
Another time my husband had a letter from a car manufacturer. He didn't open it straight away as he thought it was junk mail. He then opened it to find it was a luxury weekend away for 2 - it was lovely and worth around £1000 in the end as we given a suite.2019 Prize Total - £0/0 Prizes 2018 Prize Total - £100/1 Prize 2017 Prize Total - £250/2 Prizes

The only 'big' prize I can remember receiving unexpectedly was a Thornton's easter egg earlier this year... and that was big in size rather that value. Any major prizes I've received (iPhone 6, Wii & Wii fit, bundle of Lego, Signed comics, Tarantino prize bundle, Twilight prize bundle and cash) have been precede either by a phone call, letter or WEM.'...luck came to those who left a space for it.'
