Skills test for temping agency
Comments
-
I think these tests are utterly pointless. It's more down to work ethic and eagerness / ability to learn new skills.
My first ever temp agency was for a summer job on a production line of a factory. After my agency interview they said I had the job (I started the same afternoon), but still had to complete basic (and I mean basic) math and logic test to tick their boxes.
My worst ever temp agency had basic Maths, English and typing tests (which I aced), but the agency was abysmal.
My best (and rare agency that had morals) simply did an interview and asked to see my qualifications which were satisfactory to bypass any test they had. This and my good worth ethic / review from placements led to lots of other placements via the agency and eventually a temp to perm contract.0
