they wrote a silly piece today saying building more homes isnt enough that transactions are far lower than what they should be and there needs to be changes to increase transactions
They didn't seem to realise not building 1 house results in 3-4 lost transactions. We build about 100,000 fewer homes each year now than just before the recession that's in the region of 330,000 lost transactions per year and the majority of that would be gross mortgage lending.0
