This competition is open to residents worldwide.
Radisson Blu®, one of the world’s leading hotel brands, has announced a global design contest inviting participants to customize the iconic egg chair, originally created by the legendary Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel, Copenhagen.
To enter you need to put your own design on a blank egg chair- it’s really easy and only takes a minute- you can see my rather girly effort above! Use the online chair configurator at design.radissonblu.com.
The contest runs from the 1st September through to 13th October 2015.
Each week three finalists will be selected, with two selected by the public and one selected by a member of the expert jury. The winning design will be chosen from the 15 finalists by the expert jury.
An expert jury will select the contest’s grand prize winner, who will receive a customized version of their winning egg chair design and a 3-night VIP trip to Copenhagen, Denmark. The winning design may become part of the brand’s new interior design scheme that will launch later this year. In addition, a miniature travelling exhibition of the top 15 finalists will be displayed at selected Radisson Blu hotels around the world throughout 2016.
