    Apologies, misread comment.
  • I think what drew is asking is whether he is entitled to receive interest for the period he did not receive the cash through no fault of his own. If so how would that interest be calculated and who should pay it.

    Sounds like his 9k was inadvertantly included in a cheque to someone else and this has prevented his receipt of the cash? Bluntly is it negligence in the part of a 3rd party for which interest should be paid to put drew in the position he should have been when the funds were initially dispersed?
