Need airbag light reset in Belfast

Just wondering if anyone knows a mechanic who will reset my airbag light on my BMW 320d e46? I replaced a window regulator recently but accidentally turned the engine on at one stage in the process without first reconnecting the airbag. So it doesn't need any work done - just the light knocked off so hoping it shouldn't cost too much!

Airbag lights usually switch themselves off when the fault is fixed.

You may have knocked a sensor, or the plug is not properly connected? Read the codes and see what the fault is.

  • Thanks but not in the e46 it doesn't. It needs to be reset by someone with the proper BMW software - there is no fault. I hooked it up to a generic OBD2 code reader but it couldn't clear it.
