Been a couple of times and really enjoyed their meat cobs and breakfast cobs, looked at the meat last time we went (Monday) and was astounded at the brilliant prices on their meat packs and joints of meat/chickens, shall be stocking up as soon as we have defrosted our freezer. A lot cheaper than supermarkets and our local butchers. We use the one in Derby, looks like theres quite a few branches though!.

Why not give us an example of some of the prices as the website makes it look like a place to avoid. "Meat Packs"? Savings stamps? "free" £4 when you get to £46!! Oh Joy what do you think we can spend it all on?

I can't find anything on their website saying where the meat comes from. I'd be wary that it's being imported, hence the cheap prices.

I have used the one in Leeds on occasion and found them to be fine if not stunning quality.

In terms of where it came from I often saw it with supermarket branding (e.g. the Tesco 3 for £10 stickers / Oakfield label) but with the same kind of dates you would see in a supermarket.

Price wise in the past it was things like 2 small chickens for £5
