my daughter's average working week was 35 hours over 5 days. sometimes more. She worked week to week on a shift rota pattern. That was up to 3 weeks before she left, when they put her down to 2 days a week.
I will have a look at the links posted, and maybe she will push for holiday pay, or atleast email head office and enquire.
    Thanks for your help!
  • IMHO she took her holiday - the day she walked out.
  • She may well have taken her holiday by walking out (if she had notice to work, probably at least a week), however that would mean being paid for that time....so should equate to the holiday pay she is probably looking for.

I doubt very much they would bother, most 17 year olds would never be able to pay compensation.

You don't have to get it immediately,

Get a CCJ and they can just wait.
