Mr Lender - Lending after request to "never lend"

  • Obviously your friend needs help, I have friends that have struggled with gambling and when they were in that mindset there was very little that could be done to stop them.

There is help out there as other people have mentioned but your friend needs to want to stop, it certainly seems like they are trying by requesting the company not to re-lend to them but there are always other companies to go to which is a problem.

I would certainly look at reporting the company as there must be a charter of some kind that they signed up to, but I think there will be little hope of getting the money back, however that's just my opinion, not based on any fact.

Keep being their friend, hopefully they will have their own lightbulb moment regarding their addiction and they will certainly need your ongoing support.
