Best Way To Clear My Debts

Hi
I have debts of around £10,000 wich I am using Payplan to manage. But my Sister has sold her house and will have £6-7,000 to help me clear up my debts.
What is the best way of going about this? I have heard that some people will take less than I actually owe them if it a lump sum.

I think you can make offers in full and final settlement of the outstanding debt. You need to make sure that they are marked as completely satisfied on your credit file I believe, to avoid anyone coming after you for the difference in due course.
I would have a word with payplan tomorrow and run the possibility by them - they will be happy to advise on the wordings of letters, how much to offer etc.
