Poor Dragon, but excellent news on the challenge front.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Thanks for the support folks! The pain has diminished enough that I can stop taking the pain killers etc - but I now have some cracking bruises (Grommit!!), plan for today - clear the sofa, plan a menu, write a shopping list, watch Victorian Farm that I missed a couple of days back and read what Dr Dragon has written as constructive criticism on my book!
Hopefully today will be a NSDDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Just catching up with you Dragon. How are things? I love the Victorian farm, was fascinated last night with the way she cleaned stains and how long the washing took..Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Aparently chores take just as long today as they did back then, even with all the technology we have now.
Can't see it myself, I'm sure it wouldn't have taken me 30 mins to clean up all the pine needles after taking the tree down if I didn't have a vacuum! (actually I wonder if that's what made it blow up this week? )
Dragon, I'm always amazed at how positive you are with all that is happening with you.

I know BOB to think that doing the washing for a family would take all flipping week!
Otherwise weight is all over the show but we think this is because trying to sort out all the hassle from Dr Dragon's previous place of work is coming to a head! Pain is right up there as well - but possibly because of the same reason OR because the weather can't make its flipping mind up!

Actually Raph I used to sweep the pine needles up with a stiff yard brush (cleaned it first I might add!) and it took hardly any time in comparison with the neighbours and vacuums!
