Hugs. Sorry about the pain you are in. Don't worry about posting on threads - just a line on this one to let us know you how you are.....

Hope the news is good from Dr D's interviews. Everything crossed.

Thanks mizmir, an on-line friend thinks the stress has brought a Glandular Fever relapse on and the muscle pain is part of this and part summer cold.

As soon as anything happens I will let you all know!

Thanks folks - I ended up taking medication yesterday because the pain was so bad - this morning I weighed in at 8.5 pounds heavier :cry::cry:

My weight has done another one step forward sixteen back and I am fed up of it

Sorry to hear that you are still in pain.I wouldn't worry about your weight at the moment.Getting rid of the pain is more important try and rest up if you can xxx

Oh sweetie....like taxi says, getting rid of the pain is more important, but.... have you thought, it might just be fluid? I know we comfort eat when we're ill (I do, anyway) but swelling of anything cos of a fever means more fluid, and fluid weighs.... if it isn't that, we'll support you in getting back on track. I know your weight is important for your health too, but you've got an emergency on right now with gandular fever, that needs dealing with first.

    Lots of hugs.

Only a short reply from The Dragon as it is still too painful to type,

A gain of 6lbs this week (blasted medication! still could be worse it was 8.5lbs on Monday!), it looks like when I took the tumble downstairs I have sprained/strained the bicep in my right arm and wrenched my back/right thigh as well (oh and twisted the shattered right ankle again!) - seeing the doc on Friday though to find out what to do.

In other news Dr Dragon has had a follow on interview (yippee!) - chance of a third coming up :D
