Thanks Taxi and KC, it seems to be running its course :p, had to sleep propped up last night (which was interesting but happens when I get a bronchial cough) add to that de-cluttering tissues by the ton and I am doing well :rotfl:. Dr Dragon is going to try and get out to get me a) more tissues! and b) some echinacea :D, the cough is subsiding (at the moment, not sure how it will be at bed time again, having just typed that I had a coughing fit :rotfl:)

I hope it clears quicker than mine has, i'm still bunged up from last week.
Hope you have a lovely crackling fire going and are being looked after by your OH and the furry one. Hugs

Okay the cold seems to be heading off :j and it looks as though Dr Dragon has not got it  or if he has only a mild dose at any rate! I am, however, going to take things easy still (otherwise I will be back ill in bed before you can say :xmassign:)

The only thing I hope to do today is put up the rest of the cards we received (which includes one from the lawyer we used for Dr Dragon's employment claim 18 months ago ), okay time for another :coffee: and then the cards (oh and planning the shopping for one night this week - we do NOT want to be food shopping on Friday!)

Yep, these lurgies are really, really dreadful, you take as much time as you need - you know I was prattling about my cards on my thread? I didn't send any last year, nothing at all, when I was down with that months long lurgy - you can only do what you can. You take care of yourselves.

Thanks KC, I didn't send any last year either, I just didn't have the energy or inclination :(, I have sent all mine this year though but a number of friends are saying "what's the point? they are around the house for a couple of weeks then binned!"

Okay :coffee: being drunk again, the cards are up and The Furry Dragon (tm) is curled up on the sofa giving off little doggy snores :rotfl:, just had a cheese & ham sarnie (late lunch), Dr Dragon has put a casserole in the oven (will do us today and next couple of nights)

enjoy your casserole. I haven't written any cards yet, and can't be bothered too recently. I have to admit i really can't be bothered with much this christmas and i've thought oh heavens i have to find somewhere for the cards when we receive them. I really must take a happy pill and pull myself together.

I think that once the people of my parents generation are gone I won't bother with cards any more, I send them out because it's what you do (and my Mum would be disappointed in me if I didn't), to me they are a waste of money (not just the cards themselves but the postage as well!)
