Landlord Heads Up - Smoke & CO2 Alarms

Just in case there are any residential landlords here that have missed it when it was announced back in May.
As of next month (10th Oct), it is a legal requirement for all residential rental properties to be fitted with a working smoke alarm on every floor.
Also Carbon Monoxide 'CO' alarms in every 'high risk' room (defined as any room with solid fuel heating)
Landlord is responsible for checking they work at the begininning of each tenancy.
Upto £5k fine for non compliance, or probably prison if the worst was to happen
