Find locations for hotels ?

I'm sure I have seen somewhere that you can earn money by finding locations for hotels. Can anyone help me ? I am certain there was a scheme run by Travelodge or Premier inn or Holiday inn express etc that paid a percentage or finders' fee if you suggested a site that was later used by them.

Yes. I'm sure it was a separate site linked away from the main site. A sort of referral site or page similar to the one you linked to. I'm fairly positive it was on MSE as a way to boost your income.

This reminds me of a game my brother and I used to play as kids when on a long car journey with our parents. The game was finding a good site for an airport. We would try to find fields which were flat and had no electricity poles. I wonder if my parents every made any money out of our observations!
