Red castle recoveries surprise

Hi all Money savers !!

Over the weekend I received a letter from Red Castle Recoveries asking me to pay outstanding balance of £40 ie £35 original balance and £5 fees.

This is on behalf of their client Scottish and southern energy.

I have checked my credit file and infact i have never dealt with SSE .

Never received any letter from SSE eiter, dunno what to do.. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated..


Ps: post code mentioned on letter is not correct rest addrress is fine, dont know if that makes any difference.

If it's not your debt, write and tell them so, ask them to send you proof, the "provit" letter in the stickies, at the top of this forum, is what you should send them.

Thanks for your reply, i was infact planning to give them. Call to orrow morning but your signature warned me, will send a letter now.


Also was thinking..l can i not just ignore it ?
