Thanks -I have made some cod and spring onion fishcakes, some cheesy spring onion mash which was demolished by small children with beans and sausages for tea, we are having sausage and mash for tea with the kids having the same tomorrow and then going to use the last of it if on Friday it not sure what with now as have loads of choices
thanks everyone it's worked out really cheap meals this week and next with all the potatoes we have used! We have chips,roasties,mash & fish cakes galore in the freezer too

OMG this thread has me starving for a feed of mashed spuds!
If I had that much left over, I wouldn't think about it at all, just heat it up, melt butter into it, a bit of grated mature cheddar on top and EAT.
So much for me trying to cut down on carbs. I need mashed spuds right now. So thanks for giving me that craving. LOL.0 -
The last of the mash will be eaten tonight and I'm pleased nothing went to waste as I hate wasting food but try to mix it up enough so we are not eating the same every day. The cheesy mash went down a treat and DH loved it and it was perfectly timed for the weather change tooLiving the simple life0

Mind we having bought corned beef for years as its not cheap anymore, I used to always make corned beef & potato pie too.Living the simple life0
