in Gone off!
OK so I need to cut down on my shopping and general spending.
I.work in a supermarket so i get the discount which is generally 10% but can be up to 20% occasionally, although this soon may stop due to changes at work.
This supermarket is also 10 mins from home and as I don't drive nor have a local bus service it's the easiest way to get my shopping but I also probably buy far too much in there, it also hurts carrying it home too!
I can walk to farmfoods lidl, tescos, aldi and Iceland but would have to get a taxi home if more than a few bits
So was wondering if it would work if I went for online shopping instead and just didn't take my purse to work lol!
Has anyone gone from shopping here and there to going online? And do you save money? Tia chocdonuty

Hi,I used to be on the checkouts at sainsburys and could not get out of that shop without spending, every bloody shift!!Even with the discount I spent far more than I needed, all that stuff rolling along under my nose made me hungry lol.Best just leave your purse at home.....mortgage free 3/10/12:)0

As I get paid monthly, I do a big online shop for delivery on payday, then top up shops at various other places when needed. You can save in two ways by online shopping, firstly you stick to your list and don't get tempted by store displays to buy unnecessary stuff. And secondly, you save on time, stress and energy. Somebody else has done the trekking round the shop, you just have to be at home for a one to two hour period when the shopping is scheduled to be delivered. One life - your life - live it!0

I always over spend online. And I buy too much frozen so never have room for everything! we had to buy another freezer to keep in the shed because I do it every time!!0

I like online shopping, surfing the internet to find cheap product. It saved me a lot of money .To be honest ,sometimes you will buy some things you don't need .But in total ,online shopping will save.Every time and every where don't forget to be happy.:rotfl:0
