Recruitment day interview Costa, Odeon

I've just accepted an offer to go to a recruitment day for a permanent position at Costa in Odeon, Norwich. Thing is normally I can find info about interviews on Glassdoor but there's nothing's about recruitment days.
Has anyone been to one of these at Odeon? I worry because I find it hard to stand out in a crowd as especially as I'm in my thirties and probably up against teenagers. I LOVE films and feel this would be the perfect place for me to hopefully work my way up the career ladder. Don't want to be stuck on min wage forever.
I currently work at McDonalds on min wage but it's not a company I want to progress with.

No idea but good luck with it. Just know about the company, why you want it, why they should pick you and how you can benefit them.0

No offence, but my sixpence is, if you don't want to be in a NMW job forever, why are you moving from one, to another? Can you not aim a little higher? Perhaps do some volunteering for relevant experience, to help you get a better job?0

I had a group interview with odeon, but it was over 10 years ago, so it may be different now.
It involved a group discussion about what people you would take to another planet if the Earth was going to be destroyed. (I didn't get the job so can't offer advice)
But will you be employed by costa or odeon, the interview may be different if its costa.
Good luck with it xx0 -
Funnily enough I don't enjoy being stuck at nmw but jobs are limited where I am. I have a HND and plenty of experience in several industries including self-employment. It's not like I haven't tried applying for higher paid jobs. In 18 months I've had 1 interview out of 100s of applications and cvs.DEBT: 27/12 £4060  6/1 £3906  15/1 £3756 :T 30/1 £3700  7/2 £3911
