Ankle Sprain!

Hi everybody,
So, after a tiny accident on Friday, I appear to have sprained my ankle. It still hurts when I put pressure on it (such as walking down the stairs) but walking isn't too bad. I seem to be on the road to recovery!
My question is...am I able to exercise on this ankle or should I wait until I'm completely healed and maybe concentrate on my upper body until then?
I was scheduled for a Zumba class tonight and was looking forward to it, but it is quite strenuous! Is it worth the risk?
Feeling incredibly guilty as I haven't been able to work out since I sprained it

The severity of sprains varies from very minor to very serious so it's hard to say but judging by what you say I wouldn't risk it. Start with more gentle exercise like walking and swimming and if that feels fine then gradually move on to something more strenuous.
It's a bit late now but in the hours after a sprain if you use ice packs and elevate the ankle it does speed up recovery.0
