Hi,
There have been a number of competitions i haven't entered due to not being the right age. For instance there has been great prizes on Student pocket guide and more senior ones such as Gransnet etc. I hav been avoiding them because i'm not a student nor am I a Grandma/Nanny. I just wondered if anyone was entering them even though they you dont come under the category too. I don't want to enter them if i'm not allowed to but also don't want to be missing out on some great prizes if you are allowed.
Many thanks

If you comply with the T&Cs there is no reason you shouldn't if you want to.0

just don't lie as some of the oddest comps require proofproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

Personally I don't, but am sure most do.
I do enter some of the 'older' ones which are more vague (like Older Is Wiser, Silversurfers, etc), but not gransnet as I'm not a gran. I am 45 so even though I feel like a spring chook, in some people's eyes I'm ancient lol.
I also don't enter things on Mumsnet and the like. I do enter if it's just a 'family' site for everyone as I consider myself a family of me and my other half. I just don't enter 'parents' ones. Occasionally a family holiday with 'up to X number of children' comes up. If I want to enter, I'll usually tweet to see if just couples can enter. They used to all reply and welcome every entrant with open arms, but lately they've been ignoring. Maybe just so many entering comps these days...
I'm not gonna judge anyone who does enter, so just do what feels right for you.
Good luck

I enter most of the Gransnet ones and I'm not a Granny :rotfl:
I sometimes enter the student ones, depends on the prize.
Ones that I don't enter are for brides dresses, etc or for products specifically meant for people with disabilities, recently there was a comp for a wheelchair friendly holiday. If I entered that I personally feel it would be wrong. Also pet-friendly holiday comps I don't (no pets), but things for pets like bowls and beds, etc, I do as I have family with pets.

I think Gransnet is like Mumsnet, it's Gran/Mum-centric but they have plenty of members who are neither.0
