Henry or Harry?! pet hair

Hi!
My Dyson is no longer coping with the dog hairs from my Jack Russel and someone suggested I buy a Henry....
I've never owned one before, and to be honest they have confused the heck out of me. I don't understand what the difference is on any of them (other than colour!)
Can anyone recommend a henry/james/hetty/harry ?!!
Thanks!

Miele, everytime. I wouldn't have a clue about Henry's but I know the Miele practically lifts the carpets off the floors.0

Miele's are expensive though - the last time I looked they were over £300 :eek:0

I've got a Henry which lifts the carpet off the floor. 10+ years old and works as new. I like the very long cable and rewind system which is manual but very easy. The bags are large so take a long time to fill. Never used the Harry but the charcoal filter sounds good as mine does smell. I used to have a golden retriever stay with me and my Henry coped easily with the dog hairs although if I had a dog I would pay the extra for Harry.
A friend, who makes Ming the Merciless look kind with regard to household appliances, bought a Hetty (a female Henry) about four years ago. Despite constant abuse from her, her two young sons and two French Mastiffs it still works well. She broke a Dyson twice in a month.

Get a robot! Seriously, they are unbelievably good at coping with pet hair. Mine leaves my top of the range Dyson standing.
See http://www.irobot.com/For-the-Home/Vacuum-Cleaning/Roomba.aspx - plenty of earlier models going second hand on ebay.0 -
Henry everytime - all the major cleaning companies i have worked with use them.
At less than £100 they would be your best "bang for buck"Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
Cos if you do it today and like it...You can do it again tomorrow..

Look here :

That's the Commercial "Henry" - the differences (apart from the name) include the wider base which makes it more difficult to accidentally tip over & a longer power cable.
Oh, and a 2-year collect & return warranty! :T
Get your turbo brush for the pet hairs off the bay or Amazon, like:

Choice of colours - make sure you select 230volt.
We use this company - they are 1st-rate.0
