Hi All
With stepchange at the minute, but im getting increasing frustrated on how little give there is on their rules.
Ie my lowest debt is in the £40 range and my biggest debt is £16,100. I want to pay the £40 debt straight off but the "rules" state it must be evenly divided by all debtors. My biggest debt has agreed to freeze interest on the deal that i absolutely cannot pay anymore so really cant let them have any extra otherwise they will restart interest.
Any advice on doing it myself?
Thanks

Not difficult At all, instead of paying SC, you just pay your creditors yourself, as you would if you weren't in a DMP.
That way you can clear your small debts as quick or as slow as you like.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I know the feeling...I owe £45.23 on one debt where the monthly payment is slowly decreasing. This should have been paid of months ago but SC has reduced the monthly payment from £69.96 pm to £49.96 and now to £25...I just want to pay it off!
Thanks for the link Fatbelly, definitely going to have a look at self managedDebt Free 1st March 2017
